Refund Policy

Twenty-eight days on your first charge, subject to the requirements below.

Last updated August 31, 2026

The policy

If the course is not right for you, you can have your money back within 28 days of your first charge, subject to the requirements in this document.

You do not have to tell us why. The requirements are about which charge is covered and how many times the guarantee can be used — not about proving that you tried hard enough.

The requirements

These are the conditions. There are three of them and they are the whole list — there is no clause elsewhere that adds a fourth.

  1. It applies to your first charge on the account. The guarantee covers the payment that started your subscription. Renewal charges are not covered by it; see After the guarantee below for what happens with those.
  2. It runs for 28 days from that charge. Counted from the day the payment was taken, not from the day you started the course.
  3. It can be used once per account. One guarantee, one refund.

That is all of it. You do not have to complete the course, or to have started the course, or to fill in a form explaining yourself, or to answer questions about what went wrong.

How to ask

Sign in, open your account settings, and choose the refund option.

If you would rather email, write to support@lessonsinpractice.com from the address on your account and say you want a refund. You do not need to give a reason there either.

How long it takes

We process refunds within three business days of the request.

After we process it, the money takes as long as your bank or card provider takes to show it — usually a few days, occasionally longer, and that part is genuinely not ours to speed up. If more than ten days have passed since we told you the refund was processed and you still cannot see it, email us and we will send you the payment reference to give your bank.

What happens to your access

Your access to the course ends when the refund is processed. Your account itself stays, so you can come back later without starting over, and your progress is still there if you do.

After the guarantee

Once the 28 days are up, or once the guarantee has been used, we do not refund a term you have already been charged for. What you do instead is cancel — see Cancelling below.

Two things we will always do regardless, and neither of them counts against the guarantee:

  • If we failed to send the renewal reminder. We email you three days before every charge, including the first. If a charge arrived without that email, tell us and we will refund it. That is our failure, not your oversight.
  • If you were charged after your cancellation had taken effect. Tell us and we will refund it.

If something else has gone wrong, email us anyway. This policy is the floor, not the ceiling.

Cancelling, and the 24-hour cutoff

Cancelling is not the same thing as a refund. It stops the next charge; it does not return one already taken.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. If you cancel inside those last 24 hours, the payment for the next period is processed automatically, and your cancellation then takes effect at the end of the period that payment bought. Your renewal date is shown in your account, and we email you three days before every charge.

You can cancel at any time, from your own account, without contacting us and without giving a reason. There is no retention offer to decline and no phone call. The only condition is the 24 hours.

One-time purchases

The packs and bundles offered after checkout are covered by the same 28-day window, counted from the day you bought each one, and each is treated as its own purchase for the once-per-account limit.

Chargebacks

If you ask your bank to reverse a charge instead of asking us, the bank's process takes weeks and costs us a fee, and we may close the account while it runs. Asking us is faster for you and cheaper for us.

Your legal rights

This policy is in addition to whatever your local consumer law gives you. If that law gives you a longer period or a stronger right, it applies and this policy does not reduce it. Nothing above limits a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right.
